1.
I was very satisfied with her performance, very straight forward and honest. She gave me very positive results. She is the second and best attorney that I have used in my custody matter. I started with Lesley when my daughter was 3 and now she is 11. If I have to go back to court, and from time to time I do, I will be going with Lesley. - Troy N., Hudson County Case
2.
Excellent, Excellent, Excellent. Lesley is good at what she does. She is fair, on time, kept me abreast of everything that was going on and we had very open communication. I was extremely happy with the results before, during and after trial. She was well prepared but most of all she fought for me. - Cheryl W., Essex County Case

Lesley Adams is an amazing attorney and guided me through a very difficult custody battle. She far exceeded my expectations not only in the court room, but especially in her preparation of my case. Through Lesley’s hard work, conviction and sincerely pushing me to pursue my rights I was able to secure a sound and peaceful environment for my child. Our resounding and definitive wins in court enabled greater focus on raising my son. I was unencumbered because Lesley activated legal parameters to protect us and our future. In the end, her foresight addressed many issues and I am happy that I was able to get a just resolution. - Alan L., Hudson County Case

I have known Lesley for many years personally and professionally. We met working together at the Prosecutor’s Office. There I got to see Lesley’s trial skill up close and personal while I got to know her as a friend. After we both left that office, I re-married and ultimately needed a fierce and accomplished divorce attorney because my husband hired a big name attorney. Without hesitation I asked Lesley to represent me. When I was ready to give in during the negotiations, Lesley held my hand, looked at me and said, “No, Pat, let me handle this.” She explained her reasons not like she was talking to another attorney, but as you would talk to a friend that you trust. I listened. Lesley successfully negotiated my case so that I received the results that I really wanted.

She has excellent judgment, a keen understanding of the applicable law and the ability to effectively advocate on behalf of her clients. As an attorney myself, I had a number of people I could have chosen to represent me who I also know personally. Lesley was the only person that I trusted to be able to handle my husband, his attorney and me in a very emotional time. - Pat W., Essex County Case.

Lesley represented me in two different counties on two very different matters.  She was a recomendation from an attorney I grew up with and trust like a brother, but he only does criminal and met Lesley when she was a prosecutor.

She represented me in two diferent counties on several post divorce matters regarding my children.  Then she represented me in a two year long DYFS matter where my ex-wife was the target parent, and that case was a true nightmare. I do not live in New Jersey anymore, and the entire time Lesley was my attorney, I lived in another state.  In all cases, her courtroom skill, tactical legal knowledge and depth of experience was the advantage that I needed to protect my children and my rights. A couple of descriptive words would be: tenacious, thorough and beacon. In fact, during the DYFS matter I was deployed to Iraq, I was never worried about my case because Lesley was there representing my interests the same as she would if I had been sitting in the courtroom with her, which gave me some comfort in the middle of a war zone.

My direct advice to anyone searching for legal representation...I highly recommend Lesley Renee Adams.  Her ability to jump into a legal battle and gain control is brilliant.  Lesley is the type of counsel that fights for what is right and delivers.  There are numerous cliches I can attach to this recommendation, however the truth is that Lesley is your best option.

All I can say to Lesley is thank you, thank you, thank you.  There is really not enough I can say for all her help and support during my divorce.  As I am sure you are aware, it was by far the most difficult thing I have ever had to endure.  Lesley helped me each and every step of the way.

To be frank, it was amazing how well Lesley knew when to push me, “prop me up”, and really helped me fight for the most important thing in the world to me – my two children. Lesley was a fantastic advocate of my decision to fight for my children.  If I had signed the documents any time sooner, I would have lost parental rights, and perhaps never seen my boys again. When the divorce got nasty, Lesley did not back down in any way.  I was completely unprepared for how nasty things got.  I was still used to the “woman I loved” and married.  I was not ready for my wife as an opponent.  I am still grateful Lesley was.

We both know I did my homework.  I spoke with at least another 25 lawyers; I still have the bills to prove it.  Lesley was the best.  Time and time again I learned that Lesley had the proper approach, tactic and plan of attack.  The only thing I learned from speaking to all the lawyers I did was that Lesley was indeed at the top of the game.
Finally, I am in the process of becoming a bit of an advocate myself.  Through this process I learned that there are not many people who help fathers in a custody battle.  With Lesley’s help, I was inspired to help other fathers also going through this very difficult period.  I believe it goes without saying that I whole heartedly recommend Lesley!

If you ever have the need for someone to sing Lesley’s praises, please have them contact me directly; I think it is THAT IMPORTANT they make the right decision and select Lesley as their lawyer.  It is with little exaggeration that I say Lesley assured I was treated fairly, and, had I made the mistake of NOT choosing Lesley, my life, and the life of my two boys, would be very, very different.
